Independent Family Imprint · Est. 2024

Books from a family
that won’t stop writing.

LoudenBooks is the independent imprint that publishes the Loudens. Democracy scholarship. Autism memoir. Biblical reflection. Children’s adventure. Four authors, one last name, a shared habit of explaining something hard in language anyone can follow.

What We Publish

The honest version.

LoudenBooks is a family imprint. It was built to publish the books the Loudens were already going to write — not to chase a category, a trend, or a market opening.

What that means in practice: the catalog isn’t curated around a single genre. Rick writes political analysis and biblical reflection. Paul writes memoir and lived experience. Becca writes adventures for her daughter. Brian does the infrastructure and the AI tooling that makes the more complex projects possible. Each book is an expression of its author, not an entry in a marketing plan.

What ties the catalog together isn’t subject matter. It’s voice — clarity, rigorous sourcing where the subject demands it, and a stubborn insistence on plain language. The family habit is explaining something hard in a way anyone can follow. Every book in the catalog is a version of that.
